There is a way to get guaranteed visitors to your website, it's called Paid Per Click (PPC). PPC allows you to set a bid you would like to pay per visitor to your site and traffic will be directed from the search engines to your website based on what they searched.

The great thing about PPC is that it's measurable. You can even track all of your clicks against your conversions or sales using Google AdWords. Of course Yahoo and MSN have similar programs but I believe Google delivers the highest quality traffic.

Your website advertisement will appear under "Sponsored Links" outlined in blue. You only pay for clicks to your website, not impressions (if the link is seen).

Google has certified me as a "Qualified Individual" for educating clients about using Google AdWords. To achieve this status you must pass a test provided by Google and manage a clients budget for X number of dollars.
